Epinephrine Auto Injector (EpiPen)

Epinephrine injection, auto-injector contains epinephrine, a medicine used to treat allergic emergencies (anaphylaxis). Anaphylaxis can be life-threatening, can happen within minutes, and can be caused by stinging and biting insects, allergy injections, foods, medicines, exercise or other unknown causes.  


The Anaphylaxis and Epinephrine Auto-Injector course teaches participants how to recognize and respond to an anaphylaxis emergency, including administering an epinephrine auto-injector. The course covers the Adult and Pediatric auto injectors and discusses the various types of auto injectors currently available to patients.
